What to do if you have a dental emergency?
Please phone between 8.30am and 9am Monday to Thursday, Friday 9.00am - 9.30am.
A member of staff will be able to offer you an appointment on that day. In order to get your problem sorted as quickly as possible, it will be with the first available dentist. This may
not be your usual dentist.
If it is less urgent, or you want to see your own dentist, we will offer you the first available appointment, but there may be a slightly longer wait.
What to do if your child has had an accident?
Please call the surgery as soon as possible. We will see the child as soon as you arrive if you let us know you are on your way.
If the tooth or teeth has been knocked out, or if it has broken, store the tooth in cold milk. Teeth that are replanted within 60 minutes have a 50% increased chance of survival.
If you have a dental emergency outwith working hours which cannot wait or on a Saturday/Sunday please phone NHS 24 on 111.
